Staff Accountant Salary: $80,000–$90,000 + bonus Location: Fully on-site, Metuchen, NJ

Key Responsibilities

Post general ledger entries and reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts

Support month-end close and accurate financial reporting

Prepare and maintain supporting schedules with analytical review

Leverage Sage 300 to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy

Assist with audits and provide required documentation

Support the Controller with special projects and process improvements

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

5+ years of hands-on staff accounting experience

Strong understanding of general ledger and journal entries

Experience with Sage 300 (Prophesy and/or NexGen a plus)

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
