Location: Seattle WA (Onsite) Year of Experience: 10 Years required Type: Contract Client: TechM At least 10 years of software development experience, and minimum 5 years of experience on Snowflake development in AWS. Snowflake data engineers will be responsible for supporting data intelligence solutions around Snowflake Data Warehouse.A solid experience and understanding of architecting, designing and operationalization of large scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse is a must. Snowflake SQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake, developing scripts in python to do Extract, Load, and Transform data.Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures. In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and modelling structure principles. Understanding data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done.Experience in Data warehousing - OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modelling. Experience gathering and analysing system requirements. Developing ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination of Python and Snowflakes SnowSQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake.
