divh2ZP Flex 12 Interpreter/h2pUnder the supervision of the Communication Center Manager, the Interpreter will provide high quality professional American Sign Language interpreting through video in a call center.
Interpreters must possess fluent American Sign Language and spoken English language skills, accurate interpreting skills, and thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
/ppZP Flex 12 Interpreters (working 12 hours a week averaged over a 6 week scheduling round) are eligible for the following:/pulliTelehealth Plan/liliCommunity work (when available)/liliFlexible scheduling/lili401 (k) Retirement Savings Plan with employer match/liliEAP (Employee Assistance Program)/liliMassage Reimbursement/li/ulh3Job Requirements/h3ulliMust be able to work 12 hours a week (averaged over a 6 week period)/liliMust pass the companys interpreting skills assessment/liliMust attend and successfully complete a 40 hour New Hire Training/li/ulh3Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:/h3ulliProvide effective video relay service and video remote interpreting for consumers/liliSupport and model the companys mission and values/liliProvide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customer and colleagues/liliExhibit professional behavior at all times including punctuality and preparedness for shifts, respectful and collaborative interaction with colleagues and supervisors and timely and accurate record keeping/liliAdhere to all policies and procedures as outlined by the company and all FCC regulations/liliDemonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to new and changing technologies/liliMulti task between interpreting effectively and utilizing video/liliParticipate in company sponsored training for Professional Development/liliExhibit the ability to meet performance expectations with minimal supervision/liliPossess the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment/liliDemonstrate strong interpersonal skills in all settings/liliOnsite interpreting for consumers will be offered based on business need but is not required.
Where driving is required for onsite work, access to a vehicle, valid drivers license and required insurance is necessary.
