Temp Maintenance Mechanic Area: Fabens. Rotating Schedule. $19.00 6PM-6AM Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues quickly to reduce downtime. Replace or repair defective parts, motors, bearings, sensors, switches, valves, belts, and other components. Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and equipment diagrams. Maintain and repair systems such as conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, motors, and control panels. Document maintenance activities, parts used, and work performed in maintenance logs or digital systems. Assist in machine installations, relocations, and upgrades. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE to ensure a safe working environment. Skills&Qualifications Solid understanding of industrial equipment, mechanical systems, and electrical components. Skilled in troubleshooting and using hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Basic knowledge of PLCs and automated systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.
