About the Role:
The Engineering Coordinator at Eriez plays a crucial role in supporting the engineering department by coordinating projects, managing documentation, and facilitating communication between various teams. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn the Eriez ERP system and Engineering databases to enter and retrieve order information and reports.
Learn to navigate the Eriez Inventor Vault to retrieve drawing information.
Log incoming sales orders and engineering requests (ERs) into engineering databases and distribute to engineering managers to schedule work order dates.
Enter work schedules in the ERP system and Excel databases for sales orders and ERs routed through the Engineering Department
Use Autodesk Vault to retrieve drawings for sales orders, IOMs, and sales support.
Make prints when necessary for Sales and other departments.
Distribute engineering documents internally and externally using a variety of hard copy and electronic methods.
Scan hand-drawn documents, preview, and store electronically.
Coordinate department meetings, including reserving conference rooms, sending meeting invitations (in Outlook), and arranging refreshments.
Communicate concerns and questions to immediate supervisor.
Attend training classes as required by supervisor.
Assist other departments as needed.
Perform tasks assigned by immediate supervisor.
Requirements
High School Diploma or 2-year associate degree in related field
Previous knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards is helpful.
Proficient using Microsoft Office software and pdf software.
Possess basic math skills.
Perform job requirements under normal supervision.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently.
