Description:

Immediate need for a Structural Engineer for design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and specialty structures, as well as pipe and civil engineering design of wastewater facilities, sewers, etc. HYBRID SCHEDULE.

Responsibilities:

Design includes Structural Analysis and Design of Concrete, Masonry, and specialty structures.

Piping and Civil Engineering design for wastewater plants, sewers, etc.

Develop structural drawings and specifications.

Coordinate drawing production between the different disciplines.

Attend internal meetings.

Prepare calculations for renovations as well as new construction.

Review shop drawings as well as other aspects of design during the construction process.

Job Requirements:

5 years + experience in Structural Engineering and Design related to water treatment plants, buildings, and specialty industrial structures.

BS Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.

Understanding of building codes and references.

Knowledge of construction drawing standards.

Excellent communication and writing skills.

Attention to detail; highly organized.

Self-starter; able to multitask.

Education:

BS in Civil/Structural Engineering with an emphasis on Structural
