/ppOverview of the Role:/ppIP House is seeking Investigators with creative mindsets, strong critical thinking skills, and a passion for protecting intellectual property and consumer safety.
In this role, you will conduct target research, perform test purchases, process evidence, prepare detailed reports, and engage with suspected scammers and resellers to gather actionable intelligence.
/ppThis position requires full-time, in-office presence at our Erie, Pennsylvania location.
/ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliConduct online research to identify sellers, capture listing evidence, and investigate target identities/liliCommunicate with sellers under assumed identities via text, phone, email, and message boards/liliPerform undercover test purchases independently or in coordination with third-party volunteers/liliReceive, photograph, label, and document evidence while maintaining chain-of-custody records/liliRegularly update tracking files and internal databases/liliPrepare detailed and accurate investigation reports/liliMaintain a high level of precision and attention to detail in all reporting activities/liliComplete additional tasks and assignments as needed/li/ulpWhat Youll Bring:/ppPrior investigation or undercover purchasing experience is not required; however, an investigative mindset is essential.
On-the-job training will be provided.

Only those with significant investigations experience will qualify for the upper end of this range.
