Waltonen Engineering is looking for a Fire Power Engineer to join our team! Responsibilities: Engineering analysis/support of military vehicles Prepare plans with detailed drawings that include project specifications Design and execute engineering to create workable solutions Develop engineering calculations, diagrams and technical reportsComplete required technical and regulatory documents Ensure projects are completed on time Present analysis results and project solutions to technical leads, senior leaders and clients as necessary Qualifications Experience in vehicle component and/or systems experience preferred Specific experience in fire power engineeringExperience with NX or Creo preferred but not mandatory Previous experience with defense/military vehicles preferred but not mandatory Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree At least 3 – 5 years related work experience Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentationsAdvanced skills in critical software applications, such as Microsoft Office and CAD Expertise in data and problem analysis, creative problem solving and design thinking Only United States Citizens can be considered Must possess or be able to obtain security clearance All employees are required to work within the confines and responsibilities of the quality system.Benefits Medical, Dental&Vision Insurance Vacation and Holiday pay Employer matching 401K Overtime Pay: Time and a half after 40 hours Hybrid work schedule after 90 days for eligible positions Tuition Reimbursement Flexible Spending Programs (FSAs) Short-Term&Long-Term Disability Insurance Employee Referral Program Additional Voluntary Benefit Programs Off-site company events&Employee Luncheons Who are we?
