KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES: Safely and efficiently operate CNC hand and automated load lathes. Learns and operates machinery to the best of his or her ability with a goal of an overall productivity of 85% or greater and an overall quality goal of 98% or greater with a goal of continuous improvement.Learn basic troubleshooting of machine issues. Understanding of basic SPC practices. Verification of gauges. Calculate and manually enter off sets. Knowledge of quality standards to ensure product meets or exceeds customer expectations. Knowledge of TS or IATF work procedures. Promote continuous improvement ideas.Ability to follow work instructions to meet procedures. Follow 5S procedures when operating machines. Report daily production and scrap. Follow training manual and take notes for future reference. Follow all company policies and procedures.
