Position Overview Moreland University, TEACH-NOW seeks creative, resourceful, content-knowledgeable, and flexible instructors who will equip, empower, and enable program participants to become transformative teachers in the 21st Century classroom. Instructors will guide participants (referred to as candidates) through the task-based curricula in our various Position Requirements&Major Responsibilities Prepare and facilitate weekly live, interactive, engaging, and collaborative Virtual Classes (VC) with cohorts of 10-15 candidates using a candidate-centered approach Evaluate candidate work by rubric grading and providing substantive and relevant feedback within 48 hours of submission Support candidates by providing guidance and scaffolding on content and technology use to individuals as needed Track candidate progress to ensure that all are keeping up with assigned work and attending VCs Maintain and track candidate attendance records on the learning platform for accuracy and outreach Participate in and monitor the Discussion Forum for the assigned cohort Serve as a mentor and resource to candidates as needed Collaborate with other instructors to continuously expand and improve program delivery Qualifications Master’s degree or higher (doctorate required for teaching in the master’s program) At least 3 years of highly effective teaching experience Outstanding interpersonal, management, and organizational skills Experience with online instruction and adult learning Ability to foster and facilitate collaboration among adult learners High-level motivation and problem-solving skills in autonomous work environment Professional, clear, and respectful communication skills (verbal and written) Adeptness in learning new technologies and systems Global awareness and cultural competence About Colibri Group Colibri Group is building the future of professional education.
