Adjunct Faculty, Graphic Design (Online) Location: Remote | AZ, CA, CO, FL, NY, VA, or TX Salary: $2440 (lecture) - $3340 (studio) per class, per term Rocky Mountain College of Art Design (RMCAD) seeks qualified applicants for the position of Online Graphic Design Adjunct Faculty who will be part of a growing, dynamic community of diverse educators. RMCAD is a small, premier college certified by HLC and NSAD offering degrees in fine and applied arts. RMCAD’s online program consists of eight-week courses offered monthly. Adjunct faculty are assigned courses based on availability and student enrollment. Primary Responsibilities Teaching and Instructional Activities: the practice and art of teaching, including evaluation by students, supervisor(s), and self. Faculty must also comply with all administrative and classroom management policies, procedures and instructional deadlines. Online faculty must prepare their online course as outlined in the course setup checklist by the course setup deadlines. The course will be reviewed to ensure proper setup. Record class attendance in Faculty Portal and submit midterm/final grades by the due date specified. Provide timely and periodic feedback to students on assignments and participation. This includes discussion board posts, critique zone feedback, as well as feedback within the learning management system. Attend required training sessions and departmental meetings. Qualifications Candidates must have a Masters degree or MFA in graphic design, communication design, visual communications, or a related area. Candidates must have significant professional design experience, including knowledge of industry-standard design software and a minimum of two years teaching experience. Online teaching experience preferred. Candidates must reside in Colorado, California, or Florida to be considered for the position.
