As a Retail Investment Research Specialist, you will play a crucial role in advancing financial intelligence systems tailored for individual investors. In this role, you will assist in training and evaluating AI systems designed to replicate and improve the thought processes of real-world investors. Key Responsibilities Research stocks, sectors, and market trends using publicly available and professional tools (e.g., screeners, filings, TradingView, financial news). Formulate and articulate investment theses, including entry/exit reasoning, catalysts, and risks. Analyze price movements and market events, distinguishing between noise and meaningful signals. Evaluate AI-generated insights, summaries, and recommendations for clarity, usefulness, and accuracy. Provide feedback on whether outputs improve decision confidence or create confusion. Simulate real-world investor workflows, including idea discovery, validation, and portfolio monitoring. Identify gaps in reasoning, missing context, or misleading interpretations in AI outputs. Qualifications Active participation in public markets (equities, ETFs, or similar instruments). Demonstrated habit of researching and tracking investments independently. Ability to explain why a stock is moving or whether a move matters. Strong intuition for market sentiment, narratives, and behavioral patterns. Comfort using platforms such as Reddit, X (Twitter), Google Finance, Yahoo Finance, TradingView, or similar. Clear written communication skills and ability to express investment reasoning.
