Page Designer, Roseburg

The News-Review Page Designer
Lotus Media Group is hiring a page designer for its award-winning newspaper The News-Review.
(PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN IN OFFICE POSITION)
The ideal candidate should have the following qualification:
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign and PhotoShop.
Work efficiently on deadlines, while also planning long-range projects.
Able to execute ideas for content in an interesting, fair and accurate manner.
Collaborate with newsroom staff.
Adhere to the company code of ethics.
Some knowledge of grammar, spelling and editing.
Prior newspaper experience preferred but not required.
The News-Review is a locally owned newspaper that is printed on site in Roseburg.
Our design department has won several awards for incorporating a traditional newspaper layout and modern elements to create a visually interesting product.
This is a full-time in-office position.
