Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher to join the faculty at Webster County High School. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, inspire students to develop a love for mathematics, and equip them with the necessary skills for academic success. This full-time position requires a commitment to student growth, collaboration with colleagues, and active participation in the school community.

Responsibilities - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. - Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback. - Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a growth mindset.- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional practices and contribute to a cohesive educational experience. - Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress. - Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events to support the school community.- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. - Implement classroom management strategies to promote a respectful and productive learning environment. - Stay current with educational best practices, curriculum changes, and advancements in mathematics education.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. - Valid teaching certification in Mathematics for the appropriate grade level. - Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to convey them effectively to students. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.- Experience in teaching mathematics at the high school level is preferred. - Proficient in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning. - A commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
