Description
We are partnered with a groundbreaking team tackling next-gen automation in aerospace manufacturing. This company builds intelligent robotic systems that streamline how large-scale aircraft are assembled—already deployed internationally and supporting one of the largest automation rollouts in aviation history. They are looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead PCB design from schematic through production, mentor other engineers, and support long-term hardware development for use in high-demand factory settings.
Three Awesome Reasons to Work Here:
Make a Real Impact on Modern Aircraft – Your work directly supports how today's aircraft are built and maintained.
Own the PCB Function – Be the go-to expert for PCB design and strategy, with real influence on product development.
Join a Tight-Knit, Low-Ego Team – Work alongside collaborative engineers who value mentorship, reliability, and long-term thinking.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design, validate, and bring up PCBs from schematic through production.
Collaborate with R&D on new designs and legacy board reviews.
Define and implement test procedures for incoming PCBs.
Vet suppliers and establish a sustainable PCB supply chain.
Mentor engineers on PCB and electrical best practices.
Daily use of Altium for schematics, layout, and documentation.
What You Need:
10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience with strong PCB design expertise.
Fluent in Altium; production-level board bring-up and validation.
Low-voltage (1.8V–24V) and basic higher-voltage experience (120–480VAC).
Proven track record of mentoring and leadership.
We'd Be Thrilled If You Have:
Motor control / robotics experience
Familiarity with rugged or industrial environments
Supplier sourcing and validation ownership
Embedded C/C++ or Python familiarity
What's In It for You:
Competitive salary - $160,000–$190,000
Low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance
Employee Stock Ownership Plan
Paid parental leave
Leadership University and career development resources
