Schedule: 6am-3:30pm M-Th and 6am-2:30pm every other Friday

Job Summary

We’re looking for a hands-on technician with experience in metal fabrication to set up and operate manual machines in a production environment. You’ll work with metals using lathes, mills, grinders, and honing equipment to produce high-quality parts to print, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and run manual fabrication equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, honing machines)
• Read blueprints and fabricate parts to spec
• Select tools, set speeds/feeds, and adjust machine settings
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Deburr, polish, and finish metal parts
• Follow job schedules and maintain production flow
• Track work orders and complete basic production documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety standards

Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or a similar shop environment
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Comfortable operating manual machines and hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable team player with a solid work ethic

Work Environment

Shop setting with standard fabrication equipment, noise, and moving machinery. Requires standing, handling metal parts, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
