Our client, an industry leader in transport packaging materials, is seeking a Baler to join their team in Fairfield, CA. As a Baler, you will be part of the operations supporting the recycling and processing department. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Baler Location: Fairfield, CA Pay Range: $19 Shift: 6am-2:30pm What's the Job? Operate the baler safely following operating instructions and safety locking mechanisms. Keep all appendages, tools, and PPE away from the workings of the machine to ensure safety. Report processed materials accurately and update forms daily.Meet or exceed the minimum team goal of 7 bales per hour. Report mechanical issues immediately to the Site Manager and Baler Technician Manager. What's Needed? Previous experience in operating industrial machinery, especially balers, is preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.Adherence to PPE standards, including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, and ear protection. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures for processing and documentation. Excellent communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members.
