Administrative Assistant / Assistant Program Specialist
Active Day has a fantastic opportunity for someone who recently graduated college, has experience working with people with Intellectual Disabilities and is looking for a job that has great growth potential.
You will work with referrals to the Center: Establishing a strong relationship so that caregivers for future members feel confident in knowing their loved one will be in the best of care with Active Day!
You will schedule and conduct tours, as well as coordinate enrollments with case managers, caregivers and the center team.
You will also be the voice of the Center by answering phones, greeting visitors, families, etc.
You will also have the opportunity to Assist our Program Specialist in the Center, meaning you will conduct initial, quarterly and annual assessments with supervision for our members as well as participate in members Individual Service Plan ("ISP") meetings.

Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for the purpose of building the center's census, improving customer satisfaction; ensuring administrative compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Computer literacy, including Excel skills and strong MS Word and Outlook skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 2 years' experience in administrative capacity
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for daily recording of member meals for USDA Food Program, and assist with monthly and annual reporting requirements.
Assist administrator with supply ordering.
Maintains member information and keeps record of contacts as requested by social worker and/or administrator.
Provides admission support to the center and social worker such as picking up Doctor's paperwork, and assessments.
Responsible for answering multi-line telephone system and transferring call to the appropriate staff members.
Responsible for creating documents using Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
