Material Handler/ Non-CDL Route Driver
We are currently hiring a Material Handler/ Back Up Non-CDL Route Driver to work in our West Fargo, ND location.
This position is best suited for an organized, responsible, self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who is looking for a career within a well-established company.
The individual will handle in-town deliveries on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Tuesday and Thursday, the individual would be in the warehouse as a Material Handler.
The position is from 7:30am - 4:00pm daily.
The main responsibilities for this role include:
Check and confirm dispatch orders and materials for delivery.
Load for orderly dispatch.
Operate truck to pick up and deliver products, materials, supplies, equipment, etc.
Pick up items for return with proper paperwork.
Obtain appropriate signatures on shipping slips and sign for materials picked up.
Pull tickets and pick orders.
Load orders
Maintain clean work area.
Put stock away.
Checks returns.
Uses scanners to check stock items and locate inventory discrepancies.
Fill in for out-of-town delivery drivers while on PTO.
Other tasks as assigned.
This position is best suited for an individual with:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least one year of verifiable delivery driving experience.
Medical Certificate Required.
Good driving record required.
Applicants must also meet the Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
Good understanding of traffic rules and regulations; roads, freeways and local layout.
Ability to use hand truck, forklift, dolly, pallet jack, etc.
