Description
Purpose of Role/Temporary: To provide administrative and programmatic support for Workforce and Economic Development initiatives, ensuring smooth coordination of training programs, participant services, and employer engagement efforts.
Job Duties/Key Responsibilities:
Provide front-line support to students, employers, and program staff via phone, email, and in-person communications.
Assist with program scheduling, registration, and participant tracking in college systems.
Maintain accurate records and databases, including attendance, completion, and reporting requirements.
Prepare communications and marketing materials related to programs and services.
Assist with intake and eligibility documentation for grant-funded programs.
Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, supplies, and facility usage.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the division's mission and goals.
Provide Bilingual communication, services, resources as needed.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative support or customer service
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Bilingual proficiency in reading, writing and translation in Spanish
Preferred Requirements:
Associate degree or coursework in business, education, or a related field
Experience working in a college or workforce development setting
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
