MALE COMPANION CAREGIVER / LIFESTYLE SUPPORT ROLE, Clarkston

SYNERGY HomeCare - Synergy Home Care of Waterford, is actively seeking a mature, polished, intelligent male companion caregiver for a unique long-term client opportunity with significant growth potential. This is NOT a typical caregiving case. We are looking for someone who naturally connects well with older professionals, communicates confidently, adapts easily, and understands how to build genuine rapport and trust over time. The ideal candidate is:• Mature and dependable • A strong conversationalist • Emotionally intelligent and perceptive • Comfortable in both companion and support roles • Professional yet personable • Self-aware, patient, and adaptable • Interested in helping develop and grow a meaningful long-term case Current Schedule: Monday&Wednesday 11:00 AM– 4:00 PM (10 guaranteed hours weekly to start with strong opportunity for additional hours) Role may include: • Companionship and engagement • Transportation to local outings/appointments • Grocery trips or errands • Accompanying recreational activities • Light household support • Meal assistance/prep • Organization and general support around the home • Providing a reassuring, steady presence for both client and spouse This role is ideal for someone who values relationship-based care and understands the importance of helping both a client AND their spouse regain quality of life, freedom, confidence, and peace of mind. We are specifically looking for someone willing to begin with the initial schedule and organically grow alongside the case as trust and consistency are established. Reliable transportation required.
