Accounting Clerk
A growing company is seeking an Accounting Clerk that is responsible for accounting and administrative tasks.
This position provides all aspects accounting/administrative support to different departments.
The ideal candidate should have good attention to details, excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to prioritize and organize tasks using Excel, QuickBooks, and other MS Office tools.
Office hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Duties & Responsibilities
Settle customer shipments and help prepare monthly claims
Create invoices and bills in QuickBooks.
Calculate and enter invoices
Verify customer logs
Maintain filing systems electronically
Communicate with customers and operation groups regarding any shipment report discrepancies
Help with other administrative tasks: answer phone calls, greet visitors, help with payroll times, schedule/coordinate meetings, etc.
Work on other office administrative related assignments
Requirements
1+ year accounting or administrative experience
High school diploma and college degree a plus
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of QuickBooks
Able to work in a dynamic working environment independently and as a team member
Accurate fast data entry
Must be organized and pay attention to detail
