We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team! Job Summary We are looking for dedicated and passionate Material Handlers with Forklift experience for a Metal Supply Store. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for performing general labor tasks, warehouse maintenance, using machinery to cut material, and safely loading and unloading materials with the use of a forklift. The Material Handler will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers. We are seeking candidates who are extremely motivated to support all operational processes and procedures.Responsibilities Load and unload trucks with material. Cut and stock material. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in finding what they need. Operate a Point-of-sale System. Lifting heavy materials. Operate a forklift to handle material. Safely Operate machinery. Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free work area.Follow all safety standards and protocols. Keep work area and warehouse neat and organized. Performs other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Must have reliable means of transportation. Must work Saturdays. 8-2 Knowledge of steel is preferred. Forklift experience is preferred. Must be able to lift 70+ LBSMust have good people skills with an outgoing and friendly attitude. Strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Motivated self starter.
