Additionally, this position may assist in various capacities for the overall operations of Crystal Joys such as inventory assistance, merchandising, packing and shipping, online order fulfillment, marketing support, scheduling coordination, or other duties as assigned.We're an innovative and energetic organization looking for a professional and passionate individual to join our team and help take our sales, customer service, and store operations to the next level. Duties include: Responsible for helping maintain and support daily retail store operations independently and alongside team membersProvides excellent customer service to all customers and community members Maintains a positive and cheerful demeanor with customers, greeting them and offering help and guidance as needed Acts as a leadership presence on the sales floor and helps support team members during shifts Assists with maintaining store performance goals including sales, conversion, average order value, and customer engagementHelps support store scheduling, staffing coverage, and shift coordination as needed Maintains communication with team members regarding scheduling, operational updates, and store expectations Assists with training and supporting Retail Associates Researches and informs self about new store products with information that can be accurately shared with customers during the sale processWorks with a sales-focused mindset in alignment with achieving store and bonus metrics, if applicable Maintains store and displays in good condition and assists in day-to-day maintenance of the store Assists with ongoing inventory expectations of the store to include restocking, pricing, labeling, merchandising, and organizingUses the POS system effectively and successfully maneuvers and navigates the platform Implements opening, closing, and daily duties of the store, including register maintenance and cash handling procedures Processes payments including working with cash and credit cards and managing cash drawer with accuracyAssists with weekly deposits and register balancing procedures as directed Works in various store locations if necessary Assists in packing and shipping online orders and delivers to post office or drop box if needed Fulfills online orders and/or provides oversight of online sales platforms as requestedAssists with marketing initiatives, local promotions, events, social media content, or blog posts as directed Helps maintain store cleanliness, organization, and operational standards Actively responds to verbal and written communication from supervisor through all communication platforms including texts, phone calls, emails, BambooHR, GroupMe, and other company systems in a timely mannerWorks in full alignment with company policies and procedures Job Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Exceptions may be made based on State Laws as applicable. Ability to work within various technology platforms and systems, including but not limited to POS systems, email, scheduling software, and project management softwarePrevious retail experience is beneficial, though not required Leadership or supervisory experience is beneficial Excellent customer service skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Computer literate and basic math skills Available to work on weekends and holidays Ability to follow verbal and written instructionsReliable transportation required Ability to fulfill all physical demands of the position as indicated by Crystal Joys
