2nd Shift Production Supervisor, Indiana

Responsibilities:
Daily supervise ferrous or non-ferrous employees.

Approve timecards, vacation, time-off.

Issue disciplinary action and employee counseling.

Issue department’s work schedule.

Responsible for ensuring staff is up to date on equipment and safety training.

Address employee issues as they arise.

Responsible for outbound shipments in a timely manner.

Making sure material meets customer specifications.

Communicate with maintenance regarding preventative maintenance and repair to mobile and stationary equipment.

Ensure all proper PPE is in a safe working condition.

Complete all required reports.

Motivate and train employees.

All other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED

Previous experience in a supervisory role

Working knowledge of non-ferrous metals

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve in the safest and most effective manner.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to be organized with excellent time management skills.

Ability to operate a forklift, skid steer, and wheel loader

General knowledge mechanics.
