Administrative Assistant / Scale Operator, Indiana

Overview:
Performs a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the division.

Responsibilities:
Daily Time logs

Maintain weekly schedules, Saturday sign-up, employee vacations and appointments

Replenish cashier – countdown safe and order cash

Maintain discrepancy, cost center and production reports

Schedule and coordinate operational and safety meetings, attend as needed

Event planning

Maintain tool box talks

Order office and safety supplies

Provide excellent customer service at all times

Cross train in all areas including scale operator (requires rotating Saturday schedule)

Qualifications:
Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Strong communications skills both verbal and written

Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management

Clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and multi-task

Preferred:

High School education or GED

Operating knowledge of retail scale

Experience working in JD Edwards/SAI
