Description

Ability to produce a high-quality retread by performing specific retreading tasks, as assigned, per Bandag specifications and time standards. This position is full-time from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Duties Include:

High quality workmanship: keeping supervisor informed of production problems as they occur General maintenance of specifically assigned equipment and area, in a safe, clean and workable manner Skills include buffing, initial inspection, certified repair, shipping, and basic tire analysis Retread Technician Requirements:

Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner. Team- Player: Works well as a member of a group. Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Must pass a pre-employment background check/drug screen Requirements

Frequent squatting, bending, and twisting. Lifting: frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high Standing for extended periods of time Environment: Work in environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures range from extremely hot to extremely cold, depending on the season. Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception)Sense of sound (Alarms, horns and motorized equipment)
