Rightstone is looking for a General Laborer– Groundskeeping (Cemetery Operations) in Fort Wayne, IN. The pay rate is $16.85/hr.for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, 2-month summer contract.

In this role, you will be a key person responsible for supporting the daily operations, landscaping upkeep, and service preparations for a premier, respectful cemetery facility. You will handle everything from pristine grounds maintenance to setting up funeral service areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and comforting environment for visiting families. This is an ideal position for a reliable, outdoor-oriented professional who takes pride in manual work andmaintainshigh standardsof compassion and professionalism.

WhatYou’llDo Perform general grounds keeping and landscaping maintenance, including debris removal, trimming, and facility upkeep. Assistin the meticulous setup and breakdown of burial plots and funeral service areas ahead of family arrivals. Safely and

efficientlyoperatebasic

commercial landscaping equipment and manual maintenance tools. Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of cemetery grounds, mausoleums, and common visitor areas. Support the onsite operations team by loading, unloading, and staging maintenance materials and equipment. Strictly follow all safety procedures while opening, closing, and securing cemetery facilities daily.

Qualifications Previousexperience in groundskeeping, professional landscaping, or general outdoor maintenance is highly preferred. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy materials while working outdoors in various weather conditions. Absolute dependability, punctuality, anda strongwork ethic tomaintaina consistent 40-hour weekly schedule.A high levelof maturity, professionalism, and sensitivity toward visiting families and grieving guests. A valid Driver’s License is preferred for navigating and operating equipment safely across the property. A candidate who takes pride in creating a manicured, presentable environment for a leading community service provider.

This is a temporary/contract position. While benefits (Health, 401k, PTO) are not provided during the contract period,
