Description

Essential Job Functions: Follow safety and environmental procedures Come to work everyday, on time as scheduled Proficient communication skills Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts. Examine welds and unload parts to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product qualityUse computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system Load, setup, operate robotic welding equipment Perform basic preventative maintenance and repair and setup to keep robotic welder running smoothly and reduce downtime. Examine weld during welding process; observe problems with the weld and adjust the speed, voltage, amperage, or feed of the wire or rodExecute scheduling board Ability to use motorized walking stacker

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to operator cranes, overhead hoists Ability to use quality inspection equipment Proficient and basic math and computer skills Ability to pass eye exam

Work Environment:

The work environment is a metal fabrication machine shop. Indoor, noisy, hot in summer months
