Senior Electrical Engineer– Energy Transition&Microgrids Location:

Position Overview We are seeking a senior-level

Electrical Engineer

to lead our Energy&Power Solutions team in Fort Worth. As the global energy landscape shifts toward decarbonization and resiliency, this role serves as a technical cornerstone for developing innovative microgrids, renewable energy integrations, and large-scale utility master plans. This is a high-impact leadership position offering "end-to-end" project lifecycle involvement—from conceptual strategy and business development to detailed design and full-scale execution.

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership:

Lead an electrical engineering team in providing advisory services and design solutions for complex power systems and microgrids. Design&Modeling:

Develop concept-level plans and detailed design calculations, construction drawings, and specifications for HV/MV substations and power distribution. Strategic Growth:

Partner with Client Account Managers and sales teams on high-priority pursuits, strategy formation, and the expansion of our energy transition portfolio. Mentorship:

Act as a technical lead and mentor for junior and mid-level engineering staff. Lifecycle Management:

Manage projects from exploration and development through to operation, repowering, or retirement.

Required Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power Engineering. Experience:

Minimum 8 years of professional design/consulting experience, specifically within

Utility and Power projects

. Licensure:

Active

Professional Engineer (PE) license

is preferred, or the demonstrated ability to obtain licensure within 12 months. Technical Software:

Proficiency in power system modeling (SKM Power Tools, ETAP) and 3D modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, CADWorx, or NavisWorks). Domain Expertise:

Proven experience in HV/MV substations, power generation, and power distribution systems. Compliance:

Must be a

U.S. Citizen

Preferred Expertise Renewable Energy:

Experience with solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and Energy Storage Systems (ESS). Advanced Systems:

Familiarity with SCADA, Power System Automation, Protection and Control, or Cogeneration (CHP). Planning:

Experience in campus utility master planning, decarbonization strategies, or thermal utility plants (steam/chilled water).

Core Competencies Sophisticated communication and technical writing skills. Demonstrated ability to manage "up and out" while supporting large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams. Highly collaborative problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under minor supervision.
