Description
Position Summary: The Solution Architect designs end-to-end technology solutions that align business goals with scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise systems. This role translates complex business and technical requirements into practical architecture designs, then guides solution delivery across our Azure cloud, Snowflake, Power BI, data, application, and integration environments. The Solution Architect balances technical excellence, business value, and operational sustainability across large-scale transformation initiatives. Essential Tasks: Design end-to-end technology solutions across Azure cloud, Snowflake, Power BI, and enterprise integration platforms Partner with business stakeholders, project teams, developers, and infrastructure teams to define solution architecture and implementation roadmaps Evaluate current systems, identify gaps, and recommend scalable architecture improvements and modernization strategies Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, governance policies, and performance expectations Lead technical design discussions for cloud, data, analytics, and application architectures, with an emphasis on Azure and Snowflake Support project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle by resolving design challenges and protecting architecture integrity Prepare and maintain architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical recommendations for stakeholders and delivery teams Drive continuous improvement through technology evaluation, reusable design patterns, and adoption of best practices Core Competencies: Ability to Analyze and Solve Problems: Skill in recognizing challenges, exploring options, and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner Attention to Detail: A strong focus on completing tasks and projects accurately and thoroughly Communication Skills: Capable of expressing ideas clearly in both verbal and written forms and engaging with various audiences Timely Task Completion: Ability to finish tasks and projects efficiently, managing resources and priorities effectively Team Collaboration: Willingness to work together with others, promoting teamwork and supporting shared goals Client Focus: Dedication to understanding and addressing the needs of clients and stakeholders to ensure their satisfaction Dependability: Acknowledgment of the importance of being present and punctual Creative Thinking: Openness to suggesting new ideas and methods to improve processes and outcome Organizational Skills: Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Adaptability: Willingness to adjust to changing situations and priorities, showing resilience in a dynamic work environment Experience and Education: Strong experience in solution architecture, systems design, and enterprise technology delivery Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across Azure cloud, data, analytics, applications, and integrations Working knowledge of architecture frameworks, design patterns, and solution governance practices Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Power BI, APIs, and enterprise integration technologies Strong understanding of security, performance, availability, and operational support considerations Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical designs to both technical and non-technical audiences Knowledge of project delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or hybrid models, preferred Demonstrated experience influencing architecture strategy and working with senior business and technology leaders, preferred Systems: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Azure, Snowflake, and Power BI– Experience leading Azure cloud transformation, enterprise modernization, or data platform migration initiatives, and familiarity with broad set of Azure, Snowflake and Power BI services and enterprise integration tools, preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 25 pounds Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key Walking, bending, sitting, reaching, and stretching in all direction Notice to Recruiters and Staffing Agencies: Toprotect the interests of all parties, Higginbotham Insurance Agency, Inc., and our partners, will not accept unsolicited potential placements from any source other than directly from the candidate or a vendor partner under MSA with Higginbotham.
