Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)– Home Care Role Location: Forest Hill, MD 21050 Pay Rate $43.40 per hour Shift Requirements Monday – Friday (No on-call, No weekends) Service Area Harford County, MD Licensing Requirements Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license Compact license accepted Preferred Skills HomeCare Home Base (HCHB) experience preferred Prior home care experience preferred (not mandatory) Job Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy services that are planned, delegated, and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment. Responsibilities Deliver physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Communicate regularly with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress, treatment plans, and concerns Assist with cleaning, maintenance, and proper use of equipment and treatment areas Report equipment issues to appropriate personnel to ensure proper functionality Communicate patient needs and progress updates to the supervising Physical Therapist Assist in securing and incorporating adaptive equipment to improve patient function and rehabilitation outcomes Maintain accurate and timely patient treatment and billing documentation per company, facility, and regulatory requirements Comply with all applicable policies including: Company Code of Conduct HIPAA regulations Corporate Compliance programs State and federal healthcare laws Participate in staff development programs, meetings, and continuing education requirements Maintain and enhance clinical skills in accordance with professional standards Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $40 - $43 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
