Job Description
The General Production Worker supports a wide range of plant operations that do not involve forklift use.
This role focuses on packing cardboard materials, preparing products for shipment, and handling general warehouse and manufacturing tasks in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled facility.
Responsibilities
Stack finished products safely and efficiently on pallets.
Wrap and palletize products to prepare them for storage and shipment.
Build custom skids according to product and shipping requirements.
Use a manual pallet jack to move and pull materials throughout the facility.
Pack cardboard materials into boxes accurately and securely for shipment.
Inspect materials and packaging for quality and completeness before shipping.
Prepare packed boxes and pallets for outbound shipments, including labeling and staging.
Operate and work around industrial or manufacturing equipment as assigned, excluding forklifts.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing general labor and production tasks.
Work on your feet for the entire shift and perform heavy lifting throughout the day.
Meet production goals and support a very fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.
Demonstrate reliability in attendance and performance to support long-term operational needs.
Essential Skills
Previous general labor experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Experience with packing, packaging, and handling materials for shipment.
Ability to work on your feet all day in a fast-paced production setting.
Capability to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift.
Experience working with industrial or manufacturing equipment (excluding forklifts).
Ability to perform basic inspection of materials and packaging for quality.
Strong self-motivation and ability to stay productive with minimal supervision.
Interest in long-term employment and growing with the company.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with palletizing, wrapping, and building skids.
Background in general production or machine operation.
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities in a very fast-paced setting.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance.

Work Environment

The setting is hands-on, physically demanding, and focused on safety and efficiency.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $***** - $*****/hr.
