We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. You’ll have the opportunity to use your vast experience in the industry and apply it to solving today’s challenges.
As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide by providing a range of skills as part of an integrated building services design.
While working in this role, you’ll be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously (with supporting staff), design and perform calculations related to both medium voltage distribution systems and large motor loads. prepare load analysis for different stages of design, oversee the preparation of drawings detailing system design, prepare basis of design reports, design grounding and lightning protection, design redundant electrical systems, mitigate hazardous area concerns. Additional duties or areas of technical growth may include lighting systems and associated controls, preparing and documenting energy compliance calculations and forms, selecting equipment and fixtures for use in buildings, coordinating designs with engineers and architects of other disciplines, and facilitate construction administration.
This position typically includes limited travel commitments in support of project designs to visit with clients and develop an understanding of their needs as part of a broader design team. This position emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and teamwork. Here's what you'll need
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License
• United States Citizenship
• At least 10 years’ of experience working in a corporate engineering environment
• Strong mentorship focus to develop future engineers
• Exposure to medium voltage (and high voltage) designs
• Exposure to SCADA design
• Exposure to large motors and harmonic analysis
• Exposure to heavy industrial design applications
• Exposure to site medium voltage distribution
• Attitude of taking independent initiative, exhibiting creative problem-solving, eagerness to learn, and remaining dedicated to teamwork
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Background and technical focus in the Architectural Engineering space
• Background in sales pursuits and early game concept development
• Exposure to power redundancy concepts such as Main-Tie-Main, and various N+1, 2N, and similar power system topologies
• Exposure to government related design standards such as the Unified Facilities Criteria, Federal Aviation Administration criteria, Department of Defense, Defense Contractors, and adjacent sectors
• Past performance in quality control review roles
• An appreciation for travel in support of projects and sales pursuits as a subject matter expert (scalable to your life)
Posted Salary Range: Minimum
150,000.00
Posted Salary Range: Upper
193,200.00

The base salary range for this position is $150,000.00 to $193,200.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
