As a vital member of our community, you will be responsible for safeguarding the well-being and security of our residents, staff, and facilities during nighttime hours.

Job Summary:

As a Security Officer at The Village at Orchard Ridge, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment during nighttime hours. This includes patrolling the premises, monitoring CCTV systems, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent education is preferred.

One year of experience in a security related field is preferred 

Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record 

Relate and work well with others 

Attention to record keeping and documentation of work performed. Understand, perform and enforce applicable NLCS and departmental policies and procedures 

Possess a working knowledge of applicable state laws, especially those dealing with the use of force and detention 

Ability to follow written and oral instructions 

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision 

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

Ability to read and speak English
