Security Guard, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Pay Range: $14hr - $17hr

Responsibilities:

Greet and verify the identity of visitors and staff entering the building.

Maintain a visitor log and issue visitor badges.

Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems to detect and respond to any suspicious activity.

Provide directions and information to visitors in a courteous and helpful manner.

Ensure that the lobby area is clean, secure, and well-maintained at all times.

Assist in emergency situations by following established procedures and protocols.

Report any security incidents or irregularities to the appropriate authorities.

Collaborate with other security personnel and building staff to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Perform regular security patrols of the lobby and surrounding areas.

Enforce building policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a security role. (3-5 years).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.

Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

Basic knowledge of security procedures and equipment.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.

This role involves standing and walking for extended periods.

The position requires working in a lobby environment with regular interaction with the public.
