Division Overview:
Crown's Beverage Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees and teas as well as new energy drinks.
Crown Beverage leads the packaging industry with innovative technologies that redefine how the world looks at beverage cans.
With a large printable surface area and a wide range of sizes, shapes and decorating options, our aluminum cans are the perfect packaging format to create compelling brand presence where it counts.

Location: Winchester, Virginia.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Clerks essential responsibilities would include, but will not be limited to, the following:
Accounts Payable & Accounting Support Serve as backup for accounts payable invoice entryMaintain vendor files
Maintain BOL and scrap logs
Assist with account reconciliations, data entry and journal entries
Purchasing & Payroll Support Enter, receive and maintain purchase ordersProcess weekly union hourly payroll processingMaintain vacation and floating holidays file
Inventory & Office Support
Monitor front office functions and visitor access
Assist with annual physical inventory - mandatory attendance is required for physical inventory activities, including weekend or off-shift schedules if applicable.
Qualifications:
In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
Minimum Requirements / Preferences
Associate degree or certificate in Accounting required
13 years related experience preferred
Manufacturing and union experience preferred
Proficiency in Excel is required
Experience in IBMI and Workday preferred
Competencies

Excellent time management skills and multi-tasking.
Problem solving skills through an individual and/or collaborative approach.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time while performing computer?
based work.
Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching while performing job duties or accessing files, equipment, or office supplies.
Ability to lift and carry light to moderate weight materials, files, or office supplies (generally up to 20 pounds) on an occasional basis.
Visual acuity sufficient to review detailed accounting data, reports, and computer screens.
Working Conditions
Work is primarily performed in an office environment located within an active manufacturing facility.
Regular interaction with production, warehouse, and inventory areas may be required.
The manufacturing environment may involve exposure to loud noise levels from production equipment, moving machinery and forklift traffic, varying temperatures depending on the location within the plant.
Standard work schedule is typically Monday through Friday; however, overtime or adjusted schedules may be required during month?
end close, audits, or physical inventory counts.
Periodic work outside of normal business hours, including weekends or off?
shifts, may be required.
