Job Summary

eShocan is seeking a Senior Engineer Vehicle Dynamics Simulation to lead the development and optimization of vehicle ride, handling, steering, and braking attributes. This role involves supporting the vehicle development lifecycle from concept through to production using advanced simulation tools and data analysis methods.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain vehicle and subsystem simulation models to guide vehicle design.

Provide objective performance data for vehicle dynamics and durability based on simulation results.

Conduct subjective evaluations of vehicle dynamics using driving simulators.

Analyze real-world vehicle test data and correlate it with simulation outputs.

Collaborate cross-functionally with design, software, and system engineers.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in automotive engineering, specifically in vehicle dynamics.

Hands-on expertise with tools such as ADAMS, CarRealTime, CarMaker, or CarSim.

Strong understanding of Matlab/Simulink fundamentals.

Basic programming knowledge in Python and/or C++.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of experience in automotive or related fields.

Working knowledge of simulation tools like Dymola, Carsim, Matlab, and Python.

Familiarity with vehicle assembly plant processes.

Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Creative, solution-oriented mindset with a practical understanding of business needs.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree (BS/BEng or MS/MEng) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
