Volt is immediately hiring Production Supervisor in Fremont, CA 94538 As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for : Essential Functions: Trains and manages production employees on the assigned shift. Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift.Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. Oversees production operations on assigned shift. Maintain production floor discipline and 5S. Ensure production output meet production goal. Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations. Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly. Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems. Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Ensures that paperwork is completed and signed correctly. Required Skills/Abilities:Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery. Excellent supervisory and leadership skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior exceptional work experience with the company preferred. 3 years or above supervisor experience in similar industry. This is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.Job title: Production Supervisor Location: Fremont, California Duration: Fulltime Shift: 1 st shift (must be flexible to work between 7am-6pm) Pay range: $28/hr. to $33/hr.
