Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a CAD Technician to join our Land Development team. Under the direct supervision of a Licensed Professional Engineer (unless already licensed), performs design and comprehensive project management for numerous engineering projects of low to medium complexity while effectively leading and promoting a limited number of assigned technical personnel.  Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
Create, edit, and modify CAD drawings

Apply Westwood Company CAD standard, practices, and procedures in creating and modifying CAD drawings

Collaborate in a team environment

Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of drawings and documents

Work with extreme precision and accuracy in creating design drawings

Plot and check drawings

Willing to take on other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
High School graduate or equivalent

Technical degree or certification in AutoCAD

Experience and knowledge of latest version of AutoCAD

Design skills and knowledge

Possess basic mathematical skills and analytical abilities

Attention to detail, self-motivated and a Team player

Working Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam

Willingness to learn and grow is a must

Required Experience:
Associate Degree

Experience AutoCAD Civil 3D

1-5 Years of Industry Experience

Preferred Experience:
Experience with additional applications (InfraWorks, SITEOPS, BIM, Revit, AutoTurn, AutoDesk 360, etc..)

Compensation Range Minimum:
USD $28.00/Hr.

Compensation Range Maximum:
USD $50.00/Hr.
