Finance Manager, Texas

4 Corner Resources is looking for a Finance Manager to support hotel operations at our client’s new Kids Resort. This role will handle all hotel finance functions including forecasting, budgeting, vendor payments, cost tracking, and reporting. You’ll also help guide the financial planning and set up of hotel-related IT systems, working closely with the Digital & Technology teams to support implementation.

 

Finance Manager Requirements:

5+ years of hotel finance experience with strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. 

3+ years of experience with IT implementations.

3+ years in accounting with hotel systems.

Proficient in using property management systems, with a strong preference for OPERA.

Experience opening a hotel (from planning to launch), especially involving SOPs and project/tech tools. 

Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI or similar analytics tools.

Confident communicator, capable of presenting financial information to executives.

Advanced Excel and Financial Planning Skills.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Master’s degree preferred.

Finance Manager Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day finance operations for the resort hotel.

Pre-Opening: Help define financial requirements and oversee implementation for hotel systems like reservations, cashless payments, keyless entry, and more.

Manage the month-end close process—approve journal entries, review financial reports, explain budget variances, and review balance sheet reconciliations.

Pre-Opening: Ensure hotel financial processes align with reporting systems and integrations (e.g., SAP).

Track monthly operating costs and support forecasting, annual budget planning, and financial updates.

Pre-Opening: Oversee the transition of pre-opening cost tracking from the corporate team and support ad hoc reporting needs.

Finance Manager Additional Details:

Schedule: Hybrid for the first 6 months, then transitions to a fully onsite role in Frisco, TX 

Compensation: $75,000 to $105,000 annually (based on experience & education)
