Snowflake Data Engineer - Remote / Telecommute, Texas

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Lead technical projects involving Snowflake, DBT, SQL, and Python from conception to completion.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Develop and maintain database systems using snowflake and sql.

Implement data transformation and modeling using dbt (data build tool).

Write and optimize python code for data extraction, transformation, and loading (etl) processes.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.

Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to snowflake, dbt, sql, and python.

Skill Requirements:

Proficiency in snowflake for database development and management.

Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.

Strong sql skills for querying and managing databases.

Advanced knowledge of python for data manipulation and etl processes.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide and mentor team members effectively.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications in Snowflake, DBT, SQL, or Python are a plus.
