Pay may vary by location; for this position, the annual base salary target range is $25.00 - $28.00/hr, with potential eligibility for bonuses or commission depending on the role.Position Summary: Perform tests and/or measurement tasks for the Environmental department. Environmental: The branch of mechanics that deals with changes in the environment, including temperature, pressure and humidity. Core Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To: Test Setup - Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare test equipmentPerform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent data Data Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all pertinent data. Finalize data and send to the Program Manager Lab Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current,&organizing supplies Other - Perform other duties as assigned Core Requirements: Under General Supervision, can perform certain recurring work independently Regular interaction with clients• Intermediate interpretation and analysis of test results Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical&Mechanical principles, working knowledge of basic safety practices; working knowledge of refrigeration/thermal systems Able to use all standard Environmental equipment; able to accurately capture necessary data; basic MS Office skills; able to understand AC/DC circuits Minimum Education And Experience:HS Diploma or GED; AA or AS degree preferred 2-6 Years of experience Working Conditions: Test lab with exposure to sudden, loud noises Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
