Mechanical Engineer, Fullerton

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
8+ years mechanical
designs & Integration of electronics, mechanical
and user interfaces, including PCBAs, switches,
sensors, buttons, screens, power supplies
, wiring, cable management
Experience
designing LRUs
to meet FAA certification requirements such as DO-160
Advanced SolidWorks
and PDM
Creating drawings with GD&T (dimensions and tolerances) per ASME 14.5Y
Thermal management techniques
Must have experience designing
injection molded, sheet metal, die cast, machining, stamped and die cut
parts
Experience with technical ownership of mechanical designs and responsibilities including system assembly throughout the design, development, production, and support phases
Responsibilities:
Product development activities ranging from conceptual development, prototyping, and design validation to manufacturing
Integration of electronics, mechanical and user interfaces, including PCBAs, switches, sensors, buttons, screens, power supplies, wiring, cable management
Develops hand-held user interfaces, Systems and components
Perform root-cause analysis of issues detected during development, engineering testing, qualification & Designs assembly fixtures
