Front Desk Agent
The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service throughout the guest experience.
This role manages check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries while ensuring a smooth and welcoming hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner
Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
Verify guest information, process payments, and issue room keys
Manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations
Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
Handle guest complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary
Maintain accurate records in the property management system (PMS)
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
Monitor lobby activity and maintain a clean, organized front desk area
Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
Work Experience
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Basic computer skills; experience with hotel PMS systems is a plus
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
