If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a supportive environment that values seniors' well-being, we invite you to apply and become a vital part of our community.Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook nutritious, appealing meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and residents preferences - Supervise and assist kitchen staff to ensure efficient and high-quality food service - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health and safety regulations- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of food items - Collaborate with the dining team to plan menus and accommodate special dietary needs - Ensure timely delivery of meals and excellent service to residents - Follow all safety protocols and assist in training new staff as neededSkills and Qualifications: - Proven culinary experience, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting - Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary regulations - Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate team members - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work flexible hours, including some afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays - Level two background check and drug screening clearance required - Passion for working with seniors and providing compassionate care Grand Villa of Ocala offers a warm, welcoming environment with opportunities for growth and development.
