Job Title: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Engineer

Employment Type: W2 on ExpediteInfoTech's payroll. This position requires a Permanent resident or a U.S. citizen. The selected candidate will go through a Public Trust Clearance process

Location: Remote with occasional travel to client site in Baltimore. Candidates must currently live within a commutable distance of the office.

Summary

Seeking an AI Data Engineer with strong data Engineering and Front-End capabilities. Be able to work independently and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

Ability to work on structured and Unstructured data

Process and ingest Documents and images into models

Process PII and Sensitive data before ingestion

Develop AI Bots

Build responsive, interactive frontends for LLM-powered applications using React and modern web frameworks.

Develop Streamlit applications for rapid AI prototyping and executive demonstrations.

Create intuitive chat interfaces with real-time messaging, typing indicators, and conversation history.

Design user-friendly interfaces for complex AI workflows, including RAG systems and agentic processes.

Develop visual demonstrations of prompt engineering techniques and AI model behaviors.

Create engaging interfaces for AI concept visualization and hands-on learning experiences.

Required Qualifications:

12+ years of IT experience.

3+ years of experience as an AI Engineer

2+ years of experience in UI/UX development for AI projects

3+ years of experience in AI data engineering

2+ years of AWS experience

Qualifications

At least two years of experience with AI and 5+ years' experience in an AWS environment required:

Github, integrated with Systems Manager

LLMs

Proven ability to use APIs to integrate any open-source LLMs like LLAMA, GPT-4, etc.

Chatbot implementation

Development in cloud environments

Executive Dashboard & Reporting

Design executive-level dashboards for AI system performance monitoring and insights

Create visualization interfaces for AI model accuracy metrics, feedback analysis, and usage statistics.

Build reporting tools for Executive Order compliance tracking and implementation status.

Develop real-time monitoring interfaces for AI system health and performance metrics.

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field
