Construction Manager, Gaithersburg

Job Duties: 1. Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines. 2. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports. 3. Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to workers and staff. 4. Confer with supervisory personnel, other sub-contractors, and internal management to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. 5. Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods. 6. Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations. 7. Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or construction site emergencies. 8. Select and oversee workers who complete specific pieces of the project, such as curbs and gutters or paver and bioretention installations Info: Headquarters in Gaithersburg, Maryland F/T job, hours variable Daily travel will be required to areas of the greater DMV region, including Washington, DC, Woodbridge, VA, and Baltimore, Maryland. Requires a minimum of 24 months experience as Construction Manager, and at minimum a bachelors degree in civil, structural engineering, infrastructural engineering, or foreign equivalent.
