We have an immediate opening for an Accounting and Finance Summer Intern to join our team at US Fertility working in our Rockville, Maryland office.Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Compensation: $15 per hour (commensurate with experience) This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day. Whether collaborating with more than 200 highly respected physicians nationwide or partnering with colleagues who are passionate about solving meaningful problems, you'll be surrounded by a team committed to shared success.In this role, the Accounting and Finance Summer Intern will: Assist USF Accounts Payable Team with daily tasks, including invoices processing and data entry, verifying details of vendor invoices to match purchase order, following up the approval routing in Coupa system, communicating to venders, and processing expense reportsAssist USF Revenue and Expense Team with routine tasks, including organizing data/documents to support journal entries and monthly close Assist AP, Revenue, and Expense team members in consolidating operations to process data to the correct entity/location We're looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experienceindividuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.Qualifications and Skills Include: College student who intends to focus on accounting/management area 3.0 or above GPA Positive learning attitude and self-discipline Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and InTacct (accounting software) Cross-functional collaboration on communication (both verbal and written) and data supportsBasic understanding in GAAP Ability of detail-oriented and self-review to ensure work quality Ability to situate himself/herself in fast-pace working environments More important than any single credential, however, is the right person.
