Training Assistant
Addison Group is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization seeking a Training Assistant to support its learning and development operations. This organization provides community-based services and support programs and is looking for an organized, proactive professional to help coordinate employee training initiatives and onboarding processes.The Training Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the training department while helping ensure employees complete required onboarding and compliance training in a timely manner. This individual will work closely with multiple departments, assist with scheduling and logistics, maintain training records, and support ongoing communication related to learning initiatives.Key responsibilities include: Coordinate training schedules, room setup, materials, and day-to-day logistics Support onboarding by guiding new hires through required training processes and timelines Maintain accurate training records and assist with reporting in the Learning Management System (LMS)Monitor certification and recertification deadlines to support compliance efforts Draft, edit, and distribute internal training communications and documentation Assist trainers with classroom preparation and audiovisual setup Communicate regularly with HR, managers, and department leaders regarding training needsPerform administrative support tasks and assist with special projects as assigned Qualifications include: 3+ years of administrative, office support, or coordination experience Prior training, onboarding, or compliance support experience preferred DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration) experience is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skills Experience working with LMS platforms, CRM systems, or large databases Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel reporting and tracking Familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferredAbility to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Additional details include: Team size: 3 Reports to: Director of Training One in-person interview required (possible follow-up) Start date: ASAP Fully onsite opportunity Client is open to candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds if administrative experience is strongStrong communication skills and confidence working with leadership are important for success in this role Perks include: Opportunity for long-term conversion Collaborative and mission-focused work environment Exposure to cross-functional operations and leadership teams Stable full-time scheduleAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
